Welcome to Style By Design

My name is Verena Spong, and I've been passionately involved in hairdressing for 22 years.

My adventure began in Suriname, where I laid the foundation for my career. After completing my studies, I further developed my skills and gained valuable experience at the Houston Academy, hosted by Farouk Systems.

I also graduated as a trichologist from the University of Canada, which gave me in-depth insight into hair and scalp. My eagerness to learn also recently led me to training programs in China and Italy, where I discovered new trends and techniques in hair care.

My personal experience with hair loss resulting from chemical treatments deeply affected me and motivated me to learn everything about hair care and ways to save damaged hair. This led me to hairdressing school, and ever since, I've been fascinated by the chemistry behind hair products and the amazing results you can achieve when you master this theory.
